Repatriation

When I began this blog back in September 2013 it was to keep friends and family up-to-date while Melinda and I were living in Shanghai, but it evolved into a way for me to focus on my surroundings, the people and the places. That will continue, although in a familiar location, but with a new perspective.

Our assignment in Shanghai has ended. We arrived back in a rainy Seattle this morning and are now recovering from jet-lag in the warmth and comfort of our Lower Queen Anne (temporary) apartment. We have 60 days to find a permanent (Ha Ha) place to live and the search starts tomorrow with appointments at four apartments, two in LQA, two in Capitol Hill.

The next adventure has begun.
