Today’s sunrise saw me driving to our daughter’s house to walk and feed her two dogs and the cat while she and her husband spent the night with their newborn daughter. After the chores we headed to the hospital to visit the newly grown family and confirm that yes, our granddaughter Mia is as beautiful as we thought. After the baby was pried from my arms by her pediatrician, Nai Nai and I walked downtown Boise to buy donuts, jerky, lemon bars and breakfast burritos so Hannah and Mike had an alternative to hospital food. The Boise Farmer’s Market is large and well attended by both vendors, performers and customers. After the market we went house shopping and are cautiously hopeful that we found a Boise home (will know tomorrow if the offer is accepted).
