Bagpipes and shish kebab

Bagpipes and shish kebab

New York City is a target rich environment for a street photographer; people from all over the spectrum of humanity live, love and laugh on the streets of the city. There are broken souls around every corner, but there are also people who share their joy and lighten your soul. Melinda witnessed a violin player in Union Square Park, this afternoon, and on our walkabout this evening we witnessed this bagpipe player taking a break from performing outside Grand Central Station to order dinner from the street corner shish kebab vendor. I NY. — with Melinda Hoyt at Grand Central Station.
