365-Day -Photo Project Redux

Beginning January 01, 2014 I challenged myself to a photo-a-day project as a way of developing self-discipline and documenting my time in China. So far, so good: I have been successful for the past 32 days. These daily pictures are posted to my Facebook account and are visible only to those who are connected to me on that social media platform. This blog, on the other hand, reaches people with whom I am not Facebook friends. I have decided to repost these daily pictures to Eye on Shanghai. If you are a Facebook friend and these pictures are repetitive, my apology; if you are seeing these pictures for the first time, I hope you enjoy them and that they provide a glimpse of my life in China. Future pictures will be posted here and linked to Facebook.

Day One:

Melinda, James, and I spent New Year's Day 2014 walking around People's Park, East Nanjing Road and The Bund. This man was taking a break from keeping Shanghai's streets clean.
